Advisor and LLM Expert for a Global Data Lab and Product Studio

In 2024, Fenris began a new engagement with the World Resources Institute (WRI). WRI is an organization we’ve long admired, as home to several of the world’s most important data products in the service of climate action and human well-being. This significant client relationship demonstrates Fenris’s recognition as an expert in both data product strategy and generative AI technologies.

We are proud and very excited to be partnering with the Data Lab at WRI, which operates to support teams across the organization. The Data Lab also runs a product studio, helping WRI teams develop new infrastructure, improve features, and incubate new data products. Our collaboration focuses on strengthening their product and AI innovation capacity.

Fenris is supporting the WRI Data Lab in four primary ways:

• Advising: Providing strategic guidance on the responsible application of LLM and AI technologies across WRI initiatives
• Coaching and Mentoring: Working directly with multiple initiatives and teams to build internal capacity and expertise
• Guidelines Development: Helping develop WRI Data Lab’s guidelines and evaluation frameworks for AI use and assessment
• Collaborative Product Development: Assisting in the development of high-impact data products with WRI teams across regions and sectors

Our role blends technical expertise with product leadership and strategic insight to help WRI scale successful projects while ensuring sustainability, cost-efficiency, and technical success. This engagement highlights Fenris’s ability to provide long-term support to product leaders, helping them navigate complex technical landscapes while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
